For a long time the West has been looking towards the East with fascination for the almost immeasurably rich culture of the Indian sub-continent. Elements of this culture have been adopted over and over again - be it food, clothing, decorations or Yoga.Lately there has been a growing interest in what entertains millions of Indians: Cinema and music. Films such as Lagaan, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and Devdas are screened in European cinemas, Panjabi MC makes his way into the charts. All that music with its lively rhythms makes it hard to sit still - we want to shake our hips like Madhuri Dixit or Shah Rukh Khan! And how do you dance if they play a Bhangra song at the disco? So, if we eat, relax and dress like Indians - Why not dance like an Indian? And for those who can't make it to one of our workshops, we now offer an instructional DVD that teaches you a complete Bollywood choreography!
